Giving Back To Our Vets

If you know me (Lucas^^) pretty well, you know how much my dog means to me.  He’s a rescue that I came across by chance when I returned from the Middle East.  He keeps watch so I don’t feel like I have to do so 100% of the time.  I believe I have adapted relatively well back to civilian life since my return from Afghanistan in 2013.  I also believe that my Chewie deserves credit for much of that adaptation.  Not every combat vet is so lucky to come across a rescue or service animal when they get back.  As a result, I’m a strong believer in combat vets being paired with service animals and rescues when they return.  I hope that one day every vet can have access to a well trained companion as they retire out of service.  We take care of them but they also take care of us.  Up Armor Roofing partners with our customers when they choose us to replace their roof.  Each roof we replace gives to The Hero Company and provides a paracord bracelet or paracord keychain that you can show off to your friends and family.  Check it out: https://theherocompany.co/
